AAC Fall Festival

Last Saturday Caylie and I went to our adoption agency's Fall Festival.  We had fun talking with old friends and meeting several new ones!  Caylie loved the games and prizes most of all.

Caylie with new friends Emma, Willow, and Sophie.  These three little girls are all from the same orphanage in Nanchang, Jiangxi, and were each adopted over the summer.  So cool that they live close to each other in Colorado!  Nanchang is where we were when Caylie came to us.  It is the capital city of Jiangxi province, and about two hours from the city of Fuzhou, where Caylie is from.  There are other little girls from Caylie's orphanage who live in Colorado, as well (one goes to Caylie's school!), but they were not at this event.

7 Weeks Old

Justin is hard at work with two computers.  One is actually his school computer that he has to bring back and forth every day (h-e-a-v-y backpack!) and the other is his fun computer that use to be Daddy's.

Follow Along on a Journey to China!

Our good friends the Petersons are traveling to China TODAY for the adoption of their 10-year-old daughter in Hunan Province!  We are so very happy and excited for them!  Please follow along on their blog, as and you do, please be praying for them as they meet their sweet girl and begin the process of becoming family to her.  And pray especially for her heart, as well, as she will be leaving all she knows - a much more difficult prospect at her age than it was for Caylie.  Please pray that their hearts would be knit to each other by the Spirit of God, who is the One who orchestrated these events.
