Vacation #4: Katie's Wedding

Katie's wedding was in the evening and at their house, so there was lots of informal milling around beforehand!  I'm glad this photo could be taken.  :)

Twenty years ago this fall, our little family moved across the country to Aurora, Colorado.  God knew we would need special friends there, and He was faithful to give them to us.  These are some of the children of those dear friends, all grown up and added to.  Love them!

Vacation #3: Fun at Idahorse Farms

While Katie's wedding rehearsal was going on, and the next day before the wedding, we hung out at Idahorse Farms, the home of our friends, the Stephens.  They our dear friends who used to live here in Colorado, too, and we miss them a lot!  But now they have lots of land, woods, a pond, and many animals, which the kids loved!

There were several baby goats.  I think this one, especially, had Caylie's heart.

Vacation #2: Fun at the Harrels

On Friday we left Park City early to start the drive to Idaho.  We got to our friends, the Harrels, house in the early afternoon, and spent several hours catching up with them and seeing their beautiful home and property.  Our friends the Stephens and the Duvalls were there, too.  All of us used to live and go to church together here in Colorado, but they all moved away several years ago.  It was wonderful to spend time with them, now with much older kids and even a few grandbabies.  Katie's wedding was going to be in the back yard the next day, so much preparation was going on, as well!  

In the previous post, I put a picture of Brittany with Katie, and here they are, all grown up!

Keelan went a little crazy with the selfies.  This one is kinda strange, and I'm not sure what I'm making that face about.  And my dear friend Becky is the same as always, haha.

This one isn't a selfie, but it's a cute one of Uncle Keelan and cutie girl Tessa.

 Tessa liked to keep walking out to the edge of the yard and looking at the cows in the field.  I kept trying to get her to moo, but she just wasn't feeling it, I guess.  

But then . . . she met a cute boy!  

She got more and more interested in cutie pie Jaxson.

And I think she was in love by the end of the day.

Since the wedding was going to be in the back yard, tables were set up.
