May Fun

I was a chaperone for Caylie's 2nd grade field trip to the zoo.  I had only these three kiddos with me, and we had a fun time.

Jim and I went to our first Servant Appreciation Party at Calvary Aurora.  It was an 80s theme, so Jim and I managed to get into our school jackets for the occasion!  Lots of fun.  😊

There was a photo booth at Calvary Aurora for Mothers' Day Weekend.  These photos taken on Saturday night.
Caylie and I took the first one when the boys were scattered around the church, and I didn't think we'd get another one!

Later we tried a photo with Tessa and Elias, but that one didn't go so well.

Elias, Brittany, Tessa, and Brad

And here I am with all my kids!  (A rare photo!)
Brittany 28, Taylor 25, Keelan 19, Justin 15, Samuel 14, Caylie 9

My cute grandbabies.  Tessa was trying to kiss Elias, but he wasn't too happy about it.

The last day of Community Bible Study.  This day is officially called "Sharing Day", but I affectionately refer to it as "Eating Day".  There is a LOT of yummy food!

Elias in his Muncle Keelan's hat.

Our friends, the Ndibongos were here from South Africa!  We hadn't seen them in several years.  It's fun to catch up with long-time friends who are family.  The Dwyers were here too, and Brad and Brittany, though they missed the photo.

Samuel always gets up way too early on the weekend.  This photo taken mid-morning, haha.

Justin had his last Concert Band and Jazz Band concerts of the year.

Concert Band videos:
"Terracotta Warriors"

"Congolese"

Jazz Band videos:
"Bill On the Grill"

"Cool Joe, Mean Joe, Killer Joe"

Caylie making some muffins for dinner.  I forgot to get photos on her "gotcha" day, known to us as "Caylie Day", on May 19.  She has been in our family for FIVE years now!

Caylie and Tessa have been taking dance lessons at Miller's Dance studio this year.  Caylie takes ballet and tap on Saturdays and Tessa takes ballet on Thursdays.  They both have recitals coming up in June, and recently got their dance outfits for the occasion.  Here they are on photo day.

Caylie loves our little friend Azariah!

The Copperleaf neighborhood pool is almost ready for summer!

Keelan's Graduation from Pickens Technical College

Keelan graduated from Pickens Technical College in Automotive Technology!  He did the first year of the program during his senior year of high school, and the second this year, while he also worked at Discount Tire.  We are proud of him for all his hard work!

Dinner at Rosie's Diner to celebrate!
Keelan and his girlfriend Shanica.

And back to the house for cake!

We are proud of you, Keelan!

April Has Flown By . . .

So these first three pictures were actually March 31, the day before Easter, but they go with the Easter pics.  😉

They had a photo booth at church for Easter weekend.
We didn't all fit very well, but we were happy to try!
This was on Saturday night.

Sunday morning - three services - in the sound booth.  This time Jim was manning the spotlights.

Celebrating our risen Savior on Easter morning!

Our whole family after Easter lunch!

This face.  💙

Justin interviewed for a leadership position in the Eaglecrest Raptor Regiment marching band.  He is now Head of Field Logistics for the upcoming season.  So proud of him!

Samuel went on a three day Outdoor Education trip with his class at Global Village Academy.  He was a little nervous, but had a great time!

Caylie with our little friend Azariah after church.

Justin lettered in band in his freshman year!  He has worked so hard in marching band, concert band, jazz band, and pep band.  He also stays after school to help with set-up and whatever needs done.  He goes in early every morning to practice, and has maintained his first-chair position in concert band.  So proud of him!!

Proud mom and dad!

Justin and his friend Dylan, who has been a mentor to Justin in marching and all things trombone.

Samuel helping our friend Abner at church while I was working in the food pantry.

Yep, even mopping.  😲

Keelan made his first vehicle purchase.

And this is the sight I came home to a couple of days later.

This girl.  She makes us smile every day.  💜
