First Days of School!

Caylie and Samuel changed schools this year.  They'd been attending the Global Village Academy charter school in Aurora, in the Mandarin Chinese immersion program.   But after a lot of prayer and research, we decided it might be better to move them to the GVA in Parker, which is a much smaller environment.  The two schools are pretty much equidistant from our house, so the drive is the same.  So far, they're loving their new school and things are going great.
First day of school, August 9.  Caylie 2nd grade, Samuel 6th.

Keelan started his second year at Pickens Technical College in automotive technology.  He goes to classes in the mornings and works at Discount Tire in the afternoons.

Justin started his freshman year at Eaglecrest High school on August 14.  He's already made new friends and found his place in the marching band.

It's a Boy!!

We are so happy to have a new grandson!  Elias James Johnson was born August 1, 2017.  Isn't he a punkin?! 💙  Papa is out of town for work and hasn't seen him yet, but the rest of us have been to the hospital twice.  Tessa's been with us since Brittany and Brad went to the hospital yesterday morning.  I think she's a little overwhelmed by it all, but
she'll get used to be the big sister!
