May Stuff

We had a lot of snow in May.  It would be warm during the week, and then snow would come on the weekends.  And sometimes on the week days.  The last snowy day we had was four days before our neighborhood pool was supposed to open, and three days before the last day of school!

Caylie likes to do her online Chinese homework on my laptop.  Well, at least she was smiling about it on this day.  ;)

One day Elias was at our house, and was wearing this hoodie that Caylie wore when she was 4 1/2.  Elias is only 21 months, and not big for his age.  Sometimes I forget Caylie was so tiny when she first came home.

4 1/2-year-old Caylie in the same hoodie.

Tessa graduated from pre-school.
She's very excited about Jr. Kindergarten in the fall.

Justin had his last band concerts of the school year.  This is the Wind Ensemble.  The seniors were standing and being recognized in this shot.

And the fabulous Jazz 2.

Peter is one of the leaders of the senior high youth group at church, and came to see Justin in his Jazz concert.

And one final photo of Dylan and Justin before graduation.

Mothers' Day at Calvary Aurora with all my children and grandchildren.

Jim and I went to a very cold Rockies game.  I wore my winter coat, but the Rockies won and we had some yummy Famous Dave's BBQ!

Dropping Justin off at EHS on the last day of school.
 I can't believe he'll be a junior already.

And then it was time for the first Band Camp of the summer!  Justin is co- trombone section leader, and I became vice-president of the band boosters, so we were both very excited about the new marching season.

Putting up canopies is just one of several job that have to be done every day!

In these next two shots, you can see Justin instructing his section in marching.  I am sooooo proud of him!!

  🌞  And we're off to summertime!!  🌞
